I have accepted a job at Pathways Academy on the campus of McLean Mental Health, a partner of Massachusetts General Hospital, for after graduation. I will serve as a school counselor at Pathways Academy. My position will include teaching a non-academic based subject and providing classroom support and out placement support for the students at Pathways. Pathways is a small program that is funded by many different Massachusetts school districts for students with Autism and other co-occuring disorders. Pathways serves students ages 6-22 with two different programs, East and West programs divided by age.
I want to thank my family for all they have done for me. Without the support of my mom, dad, siblings, and nana I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’m extremely grateful for all they have invested in me. I’d also like to thank Professor Kittie Weber for always pushing me to be better academically and my hockey coach, Coach Lewis, for always holding me accountable and asking for more, making me a better athlete and person. Lastly I’d like to thank the entire NEC community for making the past 3 years unforgettable. Good luck class of 2019!
