New England College has become like a second home to me. It truly feels like I have joined a family here. I have gained so many great opportunities and met so many fantastic people by attending this school. I have been able to grow as both a writer and a person because of them.

There are a few professors that have particularly helped me grow during my journey at NEC that I would like to thank. Maura MacNeil has been my rock, especially during this last crazy semester. She is an excellent advisor, teacher, and all-around spectacular person. She has such a positive vibe and is always willing to help her students to the best of her abilities. Fran Chelland has helped me developed my love for philosophy. She is eccentric in the best way, and is always striving to open up her students to fresh ideas and interesting ways of thinking. Andrew Morgan has helped shape me both as a writer as well as how to be a better reader. He brings interesting outlooks and an excellent sense of humor to his classes. I am incredibly inspired by all of these wonderful professors and cannot thank them enough for all their guidance throughout my time here.

I also wanted to give a huge thank you to my family and loved ones who have been there to support my education. I wouldn’t be able to do it without all their love and support.

After graduation, I will be continuing my education at NEC in the Creative Writing MFASe
