The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced on Oct. 15 that NEC field hockey goalie Makenzie Anderson won goalie of the week.
Anderson shut out conference opponent Johnson and Wales University, who has not lost a conference game in over two years and shut out another conference opponent St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
“It felt incredible,” Anderson said. “We all put everything we had into winning, it was astounding.”
At press time, Anderson has 104 saves, with a save percentage of .788.
