On Wednesday August 30, the New England College community welcomed the class of 2027 during Convocation, a ceremony that marks the beginning of the new academic year.
First-year students walked across the bridge to the Simon lawn, where they were welcomed by President Lesperance, faculty, and staff. The walk symbolized the beginning of the new journey at NEC. Seniors walk the bridge again at graduation, representing the start of another new chapter.
