Women’s lacrosse midfielder Nathalie Antigua scored her 100th career point as a Pilgrim against Northern Vermont Lyndon on March 25. The junior attacker put up eight goals in the game, leading the Grims to a 21-2 victory.

In 37 career games, Antigua has scored 88 goals, and had 20 assists.

“The team was hype, the crowd was cheering and clapping,” said Devin Parsons, a fan at the game. Antigua came into the game only needing three more points and she was able to do it in the first quarter.

Nathalie Antigua is in her third season as a Pilgrims, and she wants to win.

“I didn’t want the spotlight on me, I just wanted to make sure we won the game,” said Antigua.

Throughout her high school career, she said she was not expected to continue to play at a college level.

“I was a bit of an underdog. People were kind of surprised when I committed to play at the college level,” Antigua said.

“For her to get to 100 points her junior year is a big deal,” said NEC athletic director Dave Decew. “It’s exciting, it’s something to celebrate,” Decew said.

Antigua has been an impact player for the women’s lacrosse team in her career so far, and she is only a few goals away from 100 total goals.
