This weekend kicked off with a Women’s Soccer game at home against SUNY Potsdam. Freshman Stephanie Bronowicki recorded 12 saves, but the Grims would lose 1-0.
The Volleyball team traveled to UMASS Boston, where senior Amber Thi would record 15 kills, but the team would lose three sets to 1.
The Field Hockey team took on Gordon at home, winning 10-0. Sophomore Meaghan McCamish started up the scoring, followed by 1 of Mikayla Vincents 4 goals. Drea Chin scored two goals, and Kacie Weston, Giuliana Kevlin, and Kate Bourgeois each scored 1 goal.
Volleyball would play two more matches against Keuka and Maine Maritime. They won the first match against Keuka, three sets to 1, behind sophomore Savannah Pilialohas, 14 kills. Against Maine Maritime, Amber Thi had another 15 kills but lost to Maine Maritime 3 sets to 2.
Women’s soccer played against Clarkson, where freshman goalie Hollie Bomba recorded 14 saves but lost 8-0.
Men’s soccer hosted Fitchburg State and won 5-0. Behind Logan Cassin’s 2 goal performance, also Joaquin Sanchez-Korn, Robenson Saintil, and Noel Huliselan each scored a goal.
The golf team hosted their first-ever invitation and took 2nd place overall. Sophomore Timothy Carlson led the Grims with a seven over par.
