NEC CJ Professor’s Article On Motor Vehicle ‘Stops’ & Marijuana Law Changes Published

A peer-reviewed article by CJ assistant professor Richard Hubbard has been published by Southern Utah University Department’s of Political Science and Criminal Justice in its most recent issue of their “Critical Issues in Justice and Politics” journal.

The article entitled, “The Search and Seizure Implications For Motor Vehicle ‘Stops’ Due to the Decriminalization of Marijuana” begs the question, is probable cause out the window? A condensed version of his article was published by the New Hampshire Bar Association in its January 2018 edition of the Bar News.

Since its release, Professor Hubbard has received numerous requests from New Hampshire prosecutors as well as defense attorneys who have asked for a copy of the article to assist them in some of their pending cases.
