It’s election week! The two candidates who are running against each other for Student Senate President, D’nysha Cook and Jason Earnhardt, recently had their debate. Cook is a third-year student looking to become Student Senate President for her Senior year. Earnhardt is a first-year student taking his shot on becoming the next President.

The debate was open to the student body to ask questions regarding why they should vote for either candidate. Cook and Earnhardt both made strong arguments, but it’s up to the students of NEC to choose who should be our next President. Voting will be held on Blackboard until Friday April 27th at noon. Don’t forget to vote! Linked above is the video of the debate, in case you missed it.
